ABOUT ME
I’m Katrina, a photographer and retoucher originally from the beautiful landscapes of Latvia and now based in the United States. Over the years, I have developed a deep passion for visual storytelling, combining technical skill with an eye for emotion and detail. Through extensive training and hands-on experience, I have refined my craft in both photography and retouching. I strive to create images that are polished, authentic, and full of meaning, capturing beauty in every frame.
Why I do this
I do this because I genuinely love capturing beauty, emotion, and individuality through my lens. Photography gives me the opportunity to tell visual stories, especially in fashion, where every look and expression holds meaning. I'm passionate about creating images that empower and inspire, and I enjoy celebrating the unique spark in every person, especially young models as they grow in confidence.
How I work
I approach each photoshoot with care, creativity, and collaboration. I take time to connect with my models so they feel comfortable in front of the camera. I guide them gently, pay close attention to lighting and composition, and make sure the final images are natural, expressive, and polished. Editing is also a big part of my process, and I focus on making every photo look its absolute best.
Facts about me
I’m originally from Latvia but now call Dallas home. I collect elephant figurines, love my morning coffee, and have a passion for detail as a professional retoucher. I’m always excited for a fashion week adventure and the energy it brings. When I’m not editing or behind the camera, I enjoy spending time with my family and dreaming up our next creative photoshoot together.
